The visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from the Russian Federation in Vietnam in Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank
On 28/09/2017, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from the Russian Federation in Vietnam Mr. Vnukov K.V., along with the Trade Representative - Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Vietnam and the representatives from Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam have visited and worked in Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank.
In the meeting, the Director of BOD Mr. Chumakovskiy S.O., on behalf of the BOD and leaders of Leaders of VRB, welcomed Ambassador K.V. Vnukov, thanked for the support and frequent companion of the Russian Embassy towards the activities of VRB, helped the bank in performing its role as a financial bridge between Vietnam and the Russian Federation. Also in the meeting, Council members and General Director of VRB have reported to the Ambassador about the overall operating situation of VRB until now, the orientation of development of the bank in the future, as well as the content of the remaining difficulties and problems that need to overcome for further improvements of VRB.
Vnukov Ambassador K.V. thanked leaders of VRB for holding such a meaningful meeting so that all the parties could have direct discussion about the issues that should be implemented, promote the coordination between the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam, Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Vietnam, the Russian consular section in Vietnam with VRB in supporting business, trading between the two countries.
The ambassador suggested that VRB should promote the cooperation with the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Vietnam to have frequent discussion about updated information on Russian businesses operating and looking for partners in Vietnam. On that basis, the bank and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Vietnam can coordinate to advise enterprises with necessary information about the market and partners in Vietnam, and also offer banking services. The Ambassador also suggested VRB should expand cooperation and service towards enterprises of countries which are members of the Eurasian Economic Union. They are potential customers for VRB.
At the end of the visit, VRB once again thanked the Ambassador and his colleagues for having visited and worked with VRB. VRB’s leaders will soon research the contents proposed by the Ambassador and commit to continue to promote the role of a financial bridge to serve businesses and projects between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, in order to promote the cooperation of the two countries. At the same time, VRB has recommended the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam with its important role, influence and prestige, to continue to supporting VRB in terms of connection and development of relationships in cooperating with projects, joint venture enterprises between Vietnam and Russia. Ambassador KV Vnukov has recorded the proposal of VRB and determined that he has always introduced VRB to a number of companies having business relationship with Vietnam and will keep standing by VRB in the following years.
