INCREASING CONTACTLESS TRANSACTION LIMIT OF VRB DOMESTIC DEBIT CARD TO 1,000,000 VND

Dear our valued customers,

In order to improve your experience in using VRB's domestic debit cards, making your payments faster and more convenient, from April 2, 2025, VRB officially increased the contactless transaction limit (Contactless) without entering a PIN from VND 500,000 to VND 1,000,000, applicable to all VRB domestic debit cards.

Details:
- New limit: VND 1,000,000/transaction without entering a PIN.
- Effective date: from April 2, 2025.
- Applicable subjects: All domestic debit cards issued by Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank (VRB).
- Scope of application: At VRB's Contactless payment support points (POS) and the entire POS network of Napas member banks nationwide
* Note: For transactions of VND 1,000,000 or more, customers still need to authenticate according to the current process (enter PIN or other authentication methods depending on each card acceptance unit).

With this change, customers will:
• Pay faster: Just lightly touch the card to the Contactless-supported POS machine, the transaction is completed in a snap.
• More convenient: Shop, eat, or pay for daily services with a value of up to VND 1 million without having to enter a PIN.
• Absolute safety: Advanced Contactless technology complies with international security standards to ensure the security of your card information anytime, anywhere.
