Application criteria
- Customers are Vietnamese/foreigners from 18 – 55 years old
- Having admission letter of foreign-owned educational institutions in Vietnam or of institution overseas
- Having a stable source of income to repay the Bank’s loan
- Having no NPL at VRB or other credit institutions at the time of the loan
- Having collateral for the loan (assets to mortgage or pledge, valuable papers…or guaranteed by a third party)

Required documents
Legal documents
- A verified copy of valid ID/passport, household book, long-term/temporary residence book (if available) of the borrower and of the customer’s spouse if married
- A verified copy of marital certificate or bachelorhood certificate
- ID, family permanent residence book (if not yet study abroad) or passport, visa of the student
- Documents proving the relationship between the borrower and the student
Loan documents
- Evidence of cost of study: tuition fee, living expenses of the educational institution abroad or programs and documents related to the preparation of application
- Document evidencing income for debt repayment of the borrower
- Document evidencing the loan collateral
