Notification on the addition of operating license of Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank

Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank (VRB) would like to announce the addition of approved operations to Article 5 of the License for Establishment and Operation of Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank no.11/GP-NHNN dated 30/10/2006 issued by the State Bank to VRB.

Pursuant to the Decision no. 2553/QD-NHNN dated 30/12/2016 of the State Bank of Vietnam on the addition of the operational contents to the License of the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank;

Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank (VRB) would like announce the addition of approved operations to Article 5 of the License for Establishment and Operation of Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank no.11/GP-NHNN dated 30/10/2006 issued by the State Bank to VRB includes the following contents:

I. Added activities:

1. Discounting, rediscounting of negotiable instruments and other valuable papers;

2. Entrusting, receiving entrustment, being agency in the field related to banking activities, insurance business and asset management according to the provisions of law and the guidance of the State Bank of Vietnam;

3. Domestic factoring;

4. Collection and payment services.

II. Effective time:

Decision no.2010/QD-NHNN dated 30/12/2016 takes effect from the date of signing and is an integral part of the License No.11/GP-NHNN dated 30/10/2006 issued by the State Bank of Vietnam to VRB.

VRB was established on 19/11/2006, as a result of economic cooperation between the Government and the Central Bank of the two countries, creating opportunities for exchanges between two economies, two financial systems of Vietnam and the Russian Federation. After 10 years of operating, VRB has 1 Head Office in Hanoi, 6 branches in key economic provinces and cities of the country such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh, Vung Tau and 10 transaction offices under these branches.
