VRB participated in the second international industrial exhibition Expo-Russia Vietnam 2017
With the aim of affirming the role as a financial bridge, a pioneer in promoting economic exchanges, trading activities between Vietnam and Russia, from 13/12 to 15/12/2017, Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank has participated in the second international industrial exhibition Expo-Russia Vietnam 2017 at Melia Hotel, 44 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hanoi.
The exhibition, hosted by Zarubezh – Expo JSC, in collaboration with Altai Sibiri P&T JSC, has attracted hundreds of entrepreneurs from both countries, especially the Russian business in the field of energy, mechanical engineering, transportation, communication... to display and introduce their products.
In the exhibition, VRB introduced product packages, services which were special designed in order to suit Russian as well as Vietnam businesses for trading between the two countries and other preferential credit packages, guarantee service, cards. Typically we have to mention about bilateral payment channel Vietnam - Russia in the local currency with money transfer services, trade financing products with more special features that attract public attention, communication between personal and corporate customers.

Besides, VRB has actively approached and introduced information about the bank, financial service products to all enterprises at the exhibition, participated in important trading promotion activities, investments such as "Expo-Russia Vietnam", "Workshop on economic cooperation member countries the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam in terms of freedom of Commerce" to answer questions, solve difficulties of the parties relating to the financial service when cooperating.

Vietnam is becoming one of the markets attracting lots of interests from Russian enterprises and vice versa. According to statistics from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, from the first 6 months of 2017, two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Russia was 1.7 billion dollars. In more details, more than $1 billion is from export activities from Vietnam to Russia and about 600 million USD is from import activities from Russia to Vietnam.
The development in cooperation, economic exchanges between the two countries opened up many opportunities for the VRB in supplying banking financial services for both sides – exactly like the mission of VRB that was confided by the Government, the central banks of both countries.
