VRB celebrates 15 years of establishment of Ho Chi Minh City Branch
On 08/04/2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank (VRB) Ho Chi Minh City Branch solemnly celebrated its 15th anniversary.
Attending the ceremony were the presence of Mr.Chumakovskiy Sergey – VRB’s Chairman of Board of Members (BOM), Mr.Nguyen Manh – VRB’s Vice Chairman of BOM, Mr.Doan Minh Tien - GD of VRB, members of BOD, Leaders of the Departments/Centers at HO, Leaders of VRB branches nationwide, staff of VRB Ho Chi Minh City Branch and VRB’s customers.
On 15/02/2008, VRB Ho Chi Minh City Branch officially went into operation, marking the entry of the brand name of a prestigious joint venture bank in this dynamic and potential market. Up to now, VRB Ho Chi Minh City Branch has had three transaction locations in the area, including Head Office of the Branch (at address 107-109-111 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, District 3) and two transaction offices (at 16 Pho Duc Chinh, District 1 and 81 Phan Dang Luu, District respectively. Phu Nhuan); deploy and provide a full range of products and services of a modern commercial bank, especially products and services related to bilateral trade relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Nguyen Quang Duy - Director of VRB Ho Chi Minh City Branch said, in the past 5 years, business activities at VRB Ho Chi Minh City Branch have achieved great progress. Compared to 2018, as of December 31, 2022, outstanding loans and capital mobilization of VRB City Branch. Ho Chi Minh City grew by 16% and 8% respectively; the number of credit customers and deposit customers increased by 25% and 14% respectively. Especially, profit before tax and profit per capita increased by 78% and 46% respectively.
During its operation, VRB Ho Chi Minh City Branch has experienced many difficulties and challenges. However, with the timely direction and support of VRB's BOD, the dedication of all staff and especially the trust of customers, helped VRB Ho Chi Minh City Branch overcome the difficult periods and develop successfully until now.
