WARNING ABOUT SOME FORMS OF FRAUD & LIST OF ACCOUNTS RELATED TO CRIME

In recent times, the situation of property fraud crimes has become increasingly complex and sophisticated, especially fraud through computer networks, telecommunications networks and taking advantage of religious beliefs to make illegal profits.
Forms frequently used by subjects include:

- Forging identification messages/branded emails of credit institutions, sending them to customers and attaching strange links.

- Impersonating bank staff by creating social network accounts (Facebook, Zalo, Instagram...) using logos, brand images, transaction office information, fake authentication elements (green ticks, orange ticks), inviting loans to steal login information.

- Impersonating banks/credit institutions/management agencies to notify about processing credit card information, loans. In the notification, the impersonator will notify the customer that the customer has provided incorrect loan registration information (phone number, account number, card number, etc.) and request the customer to transfer money to the account provided by the subject...

To ensure that your account and transactions are carried out safely and securely, VRB would like to note the following:

1. Absolutely DO NOT provide your login password/OTP authentication code to anyone, including VRB staff. VRB DOES NOT ask customers to provide their confidential information in any form.

2. Absolutely DO NOT click on strange/suspicious links sent via text messages/emails/social media accounts that are not VRB's official channels.

3. Only log in to VRB's personal e-banking service on the iPlus App or website: https://iplus.vrbank.com.vn

4. Be careful, do not make transactions with accounts related to fraud and taking advantage of religious beliefs according to the following list:

- Account 7601325292 opened at BIDV bank, account name Nguyen Xuan Cuong, account holder is Nguyen Xuan Cuong, born in 2004, permanent residence at Thong Quang Giao, Xuan Son, Chau Duc, Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

- Account number 325170295459, account name NLG - Energy Source Global.

- Account number 325163174749, account name NLG – Energy Source Global.

- Account number 325163174859, Bank of America, account name NLG Energy Source.

- Account number 325163174778, Bank of America, account name NLG Energy Source.
